Yellow Chair

Every two years the City of Palm Desert, CA, juries selections into the El Paseo Invitational Exhibition. "Yellow Chair" was selected for the 2016-2018 exhibition.

The artworks are displayed on concrete pads in the El Paseo median for two years. Docent-led walking tours feature the Exhibition’s sculptures and the City’s public art collection. These tours are free and open to the public. The popular El Paseo Invitational Exhibition and the City’s extensive public art collection are reasons why the City of Palm Desert has been named one of five art destination cities in America by Southwest Art Magazine.

Gluten Free

From June thru August, 2014, I had a series of cake sculptures, both metal and steel, on display in the window of the Santa Fe Community Gallery

The description reads, "People ask, 'Why Cakes?' Because I am a baker of cakes. My inspiration comes from the cake form that signifies a celebration of a milestone in life. Its round, oblong, and square layers form the classic shape that is seen at events where friends and families gather together to celebrate. A soft, lucious cake made out of steel, or wood? In the bakery window you will find my many fantasies of the wonderful cake form that we all associate with happy celebrations throughout our lives. Indulge yourself… after all, it's gluten free!"
